In all sectors of the clay target industry, Mike Luongo is an individual who is highly involved. Mike’s widespread career ranges from different occupations, including being a top-tier clay target competitor, club manager, instructor, team manager for Krieghoff Shotguns, and more. Mike has been a club pro at the prestigious Nemacolin shooting academy in Pennsylvania and the highly renowned Quail Creek Plantation in Florida. He is currently general manager at Rocky Creek Sporting Clays in South Carolina and started a Krieghoff and Beretta dealership, focusing on high-end target and field shotguns just a few years ago.

Selling guns and fitting them to clients has always been a dream and passion for Mike ever since he did his first business plan when he was a college student. Through hard work and dedication to his craft, many of Mike’s dreams have come to fruition. Mike credits his parents for always pushing him to be the best version of himself and says his mother played the biggest role in teaching him all sides of business.

Mike Luongo also enjoys being a target setter and laying out courses for shooters across the country, whether it be presentations for tournaments or practice. Mike has set targets at multiple major big-blast tournaments across the country, including the U.S. Open, Gator Cup, various State Championships, and many more big caliber shoots.

His other huge passion is instructing and coaching students from across the country and helping them improve their abilities by sharing his knowledge of the game. Some of his coaching highlights include coaching the Young Guns of Quail Creek and helping a handful of great competitors decorated with distinguished titles like Ryan Harper, Turner Parcell, Reanna Frauens, Kiersten Sales, and more. Mike has also taught and mentored his right-hand man, Bryan Quigley, to learn all aspects of the game from running events to setting excellent targets. Mike says that Bryan is one of the hardest workers he has ever met and is lucky to have him as his co-worker.

Mike is an accomplished shooter himself, having won the Sub Gauge National Championship, Pennsylvania State Championship, South Carolina State Championship, Delaware State Championship, Big Seafood Blast, U.S. Open 20 Gauge and 28 Gauge Champion, 8-time NSCA All American, and more titles.
